Ratusan Pemulung di TPA Pakusari Kaget, Tak Diduga Dapat Beras dari Polisi

JEMBER-Infonusa-News.com- Ratusan pemulung yang biasa mengais rezeki di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) di Pakusari hari ini kaget. Mereka tidak menduga didatangi puluhan polisi dan diberi beras.
Kegiatan bagi-bagi beras tersebut dalam rangka dalam rangka HUT Satpam ke 40 tahun 2020.

AKP Yuliati Suviani, SH Kasatbinmas Polres Jember mengatakan, bakti sosial selain memperingati HUT Satpam juga bagian dari #1000kebaikanuntukjember.
"Kita membagikan beras @ 5 kilogram kepada150 orang pemulung di sini," ucap AKP Yuliati.

Seorang pemulung, Jumiatun (51) mengatakan, dirinya bersyukur di tempat kotor itu masih ada orang yang peduli.

Seperti diketahui TPA Pakusari setiap harinya menerima sampah dari seluruh wilayah Jember. Lebih dari 55 rit sampah dibuang ke sana. Total volumenya setara 200 ton.

Kapolres Jember AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin SIK, MH, mengatakan, Polres Jember mendorong setiap anggota agar berpacu dan berlomba menebar kebaikan bagi sesama.
"Semoga bisa ditiru oleh warga masyarakat lainnya," tambah Kapolres. (hms/red)
